Banker and musician completes Perula Orientis Latin course

CEBU — Cebu-based banker and church musician Christian Philip Regner recently completed the 100-hour Classical Latin Fundamentals course provided by the Collegium Perulae Orientis' Institute of Living Latin under the direction of Ds. Timothy A. Troutman, being the first person in the Collegium’s history to have completed this course. Mr. Regner graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in management accounting from the University of San Carlos in Cebu and currently works as a banking professional in a savings bank. A Gregorian chant enthusiast and advocate, he is also a psalmist in the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.

The text of the certificate reads in English: The Institutum Vivae Latinitatis of the Collegium Perulae Orientis hereby certifies that Christian Philip Regner has completed the 100-hour Classical Latin Fundamentals course under direct instruction and has successfully passed the comprehensive course examination.
